A packed room, free giveaways, native shrub raffles, lively conversation, and plenty of inspiration made the Will County Wild Ones season kickoff at Bishop’s Hill Winery in Joliet a tremendous success on May 29, 2026.
Members and guests filled the venue, creating an energetic atmosphere as attendees had the chance to win native shrubs, take home giveaways, and connect with fellow native plant enthusiasts. Whether experienced gardeners or first-time visitors, everyone enjoyed the opportunity to share gardening experiences, exchange ideas, and meet others who are passionate about supporting pollinators, birds, and local ecosystems. All while over appetizers and a glass of wine!
